Off of this suggestion, I would be glad for the CD to add Coeburn. The BDD does need to be evened up some, so may Ervinton would go to the BDD to even things out a little.

Forget that--I don't want Coeburn in the Cumberland! That's ridiculous!

Could happen.
Why not? It would give Coeburn athletics a better chance to make it in to regionals occasionally in a major sport.

I'd rather a Coeburn team getting to regionals have a chance to win it with a tested team, as opposed to making an appearance every year or two just because we win a weaker district. Playing in one of the tougher athletic districts only helps us overall, can't hurt us.

Actually it looks pretty good. And leaves room to add the rivalry games or any other teams. I would say Coeburn would rather go to the CD distance wise and competition wise.
Personally I just don't like it. Pros & cons aside...I just want Coeburn to stay in the LPD.

Other than football, and baseball you will get just as tough of competition from the CD in basketball, volleyball, softball, etc.

That's what I'm saying Stripes--I'd rather a Coeburn team who makes it to regions in baseball or football be battle tested--and that would only come via non-district with ex-LPD mates or with other non-district foes. I'd much rather stay where we're at and continue to try to get up to the level of competition in other sports that we're not quite with some of the LPD powers on yet.
Like I said, there's pros & cons to it, and I understand that...I just don't like the idea personally.
